Production/Development Internship at Circle X Theatre
Posted October 29, 2009 | Comments Off |
Circle X interns become a part of our staff and company during the semester-long internship and beyond; he/she must identify with Circle X’s mission. This year’s intern will be on the production team of Lascivious Something, by Sheila Callaghan, a Debut Production at [Inside] the Ford at the Ford Amphitheatre, in addition to assisting the Operations and Development Director and doing light script coverage.
Our intern must be passionate about theatre, especially innovative new works. He/she must have excellent writing communication skills. We value the ability to work as part of a team and still be self-motivated while tackling individual projects. Proficiency with both Mac and PC programs is a plus, as is familiarity with social networking sites and new media. This internship is unpaid and requires an 8-10 hour commitment weekly, which during production will take place in the evening.
Most of Circle X’s interns are still involved with the company; we treat our intern as a full member of the Circle X staff. For more information about our organization, visit our website at www.circlextheatre.org.
To apply, please send your work resume (not your acting resume) and a personalized cover letter (form letters will be given to my rabbits) to Camille Schenkkan, Development Director: camille.schenkkan@circlextheatre.org or 6858 De Longpre Avenue, #2, Los Angeles CA 90028. Applications will be accepted until November 30.
