Search for a 17 – 20 caucasian boy for lead in feature film shooting in Louisiana

Looking for lead role in the upcoming feature, “Brother’s Keeper” formerly “Oxley’s Road”. The project is shooting in New Orleans, starting December 8. Patricia Clarkson is playing the mom and Michael Cera is playing the brother. Director is Mel Damski.

[CALVIN “CAL” OXLEY] 17-20, Caucasian. Incredibly smart, charming but unassuming. Never having fit in at school, CAL decides to join his high school’s wrestling team in an effort to reconnect with his estranged older brother and reunite his family. He doesn’t possess the natural abilities of his father and brother, but has a fearlessness and strength of spirit that inspire those around him… LEAD

SYNOPSIS: CAL OXLEY is the youngest son of a family of local wrestling stars. Ten years ago, CAL’s father died in a tragic car accident which CAL’s older brother MIKE survived. Unable to deal with their grief, this tragic event created a deep divide between MIKE and his mother SHARON. For the past decade SHARON has been raising CAL as a single mom, and has been estranged from her eldest son. CAL is a brilliant student with seemingly no natural athletic prowess; however, he decides to join his high school’s wrestling team against his mother’s will in an effort to reconnect with his brother and reunite his family.
