UTAH SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL HIRING TECHNICAL POSITIONS

The Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespearean Festival located in scenic southern Utah is hiring talent for the summer and fall seasons. Is your passion costumes? Lighting? Scenery? The Festival is hiring for all technical positions for the 2010 season. Find and share your passion with us this season! Festival staff positions are available in all constructon and backstage areas: carpentry, scenic arts, properties, lighting, hair and make-up, costumes, costume crafts, wardrobe, audio, stage, crew, stage management, and display.

Season Dates Summer: June 28 to August 28, 2010

Starting Date: Most contracts start May 16, 2010
Shows: Macbeth, The Merchant of Venice, Much Ado about Nothing, Pride and Prejudice, The 39 Steps, and Great Expectations (a world premiere musical)

Fall: September 16 to October 16, 2010
Starting Date: Most contracts start August 15, 2010
Shows: The Adventures of Pericles, Greater Tuna,and The Diary of Anne Frank

Contract Information
Contracts range from eight to twenty weeks and include housing and travel allowance. All positions are salaried and vary according to experience and training.
