After earning a degree in Art at CalArts, Jordana Arkin (BFA ’88) found her true calling not in a gallery but on television as both a comedy writer and producer for The Goode Family, Significant Others, Sons and Daughters, Saved by The Bell: The New Class and an Emmy-nominated episode of Will and Grace.
In the world of new media, Jordana co-created and co-wrote the popular webisode series, In the Motherhood and wrote the Dreamworks/Activision video games for the Annie Award winner Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar 2 and the upcoming Shrek 4. Currently, she is developing and writing her own original sitcom pilot for Mike Judge’s company, Ternion Productions.
The CalArts Entertainment Group is a new professional networking group for alumni involved in film, music, television and theater.
