Audition Information

Season Productions:

Hamlet by William Shakespeare

A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare

The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas– adapted by Ellen Geer

Master Class by Terrence McNally

  • Seeking all roles, alternates and understudies, with the exception of Hamlet, Laertes, and Maria Callas.
  • EMC points and internships available.
  • Please prepare a 1-3 minute Shakespearean monologue
  • Please bring Headshot and Resume
  • All Auditions and Call Backs take place on our main stage theatre at

Equity Open Call: Friday, March 19th 9am – 3pm (Lunch Break 12:00pm-12:30pm)

Non-Union Open Call: Saturday, March 20th 9am – 3pm (Lunch Break 12:00pm-12:30pm)

Internship & Student Auditions by Appointment*: Sunday, March 21st 9am – 3pm

  • Internship Info – Each intern: is eligible for Equity Membership Candidacy points toward Equity membership; is cast in 1-2 mainstage Repertory productions; receives 50 hours of class work; works with a company member/director; performs in a final showcase; receives experience in theatre operations. Additional Summer Training Opportunity:

Twelve dedicated individuals will be selected by interview to participate in Theatricum’s inspiring five-week, 90-hour SUMMER INTENSIVE SHAKESPEARE SEMINAR. Technique classes in voice, movement and text are taught by a renowned team of working professionals at our 299-seat outdoor amphitheatre and other nearby performing spaces July 20 through August 20, 2010 (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 10 am to 5 pm).  The workshop culminates with a performance of scenes and monologues before an invited audience, Saturday morning, August 21.   College and professional development credit may be available.
