6th Annual Artivist Film Festival at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood

Join us DECEMBER 1-5, 2009 for the 6th Annual Artivist Film Festival at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.  ”ARTIVIST” is the first international film festival dedicated to addressing Human Rights, Children’s Advocacy, Environmental Preservation, and Animal Advocacy. Filmmakers from around the world unite at the annual Artivist to address the importance of Art and Advocacy in our global community.
Artivist has announced “LA MISSION”, Directed by Peter Bratt and Starring Benjamin Bratt, as this year’s Opening Night Film. Screening 45 independent, narratives, documentaries, shorts, and experimental films from around the globe, the festival concludes with The 2009 Artivist Awards on Saturday, December 5th.  The Artivist Awards honors the festival’s winning Films, Filmmakers, and the contributions of Celebrity advocates.  Past Artivist Award recipients include: Ted Danson, Alyssa Milano, Joaquin Phoenix, Mira Sorvino, Ed Begley, Jr., James Cromwell, and Claes Nobel of the NOBEL Prize family.
