The American Conservatory Theater’s David Mamet Writing Contest is in full swing!  A.C.T.’s world-renowned MFA students will perform ten of this year’s United States-themed Mamet parodies in our century-old theater following a performance of new Mamet hit November. We’ve received dozens of entries from all corners of the world, but we’re always looking for more!

SITI Company @ The Getty May 16

Director Anne Bogart and the members of SITI Company, her New York-based ensemble founded to redefine and revitalize contemporary theater in the United States through international cultural exchange, bring to the Getty Villa the first public presentations of their latest project, an adaptation of Sophocles’ Antigone by Irish dramaturge and translator Jocelyn Clarke.
Villa Education invites up to eight students to a matinee performance of Antigone at the Getty Villa on Saturday, May 16 at 3 pm.
